My Sweetest Christmas Ever
My sweetest christmas ever

My Sweetest Christmas Ever

Lonely
Alone
And yet
Not desolated
Nor abandoned

The air filled with
Peaceful Silence
The sound
Of nothingness
And fullness

A thin veil
Between heaven and earth
A gracious smile
Endless printed
In my memory

My mother
Who cared for us
My sweetest Christmas ever
You do not suffer
any more

Resting in the arms
Of earth
And heavens
A sweet embrace
Our hearts appeased

The Holy Mother
Who Came
To visit us
presenting
a little Child

  1. Hi Fleeky,

Acceptance of the inevitable and courage are fully displayed in the poem, “My Sweetest Christmas Ever.” Nontheless, please take as much time as you need to grieve and grow from doing so. I have also prepared a poem entitled, “It’s Not Over.” Here it is as follows:

    “It’s Not Over.”
    What can I say
    Now that you are gone,
    Not much, let’s just pray
    That it’s not over.

    From earth to heaven,
    There lies a spiritual realm
    No more pain and suffering
    Only few are chosen
    To shed earthly robes
    And dress in heavenly garb
    ‘Cause it’s not over.

    Although I will miss
    Your sweet fragrance
    And smiles that are kisses
    I will celebrate you forever
    Because mother I know of
    Your loving devotion to God
    That’s why it’s not over.
